Biography
Sarah Dunn is a dedicated nurse and educator with a background across multiple specialty areas, including obstetrics, labor and delivery, newborn nursery, dialysis and hospice care. She began her nursing career by earning her associate degree in nursing through the accelerated program at Western Wisconsin Technical College, later completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing online through South Dakota State University.
In addition to her clinical experience, Dunn has served as a childbirth educator, teaching community classes on pregnancy, labor and delivery. She is passionate about empowering both students and patients with the knowledge and confidence they need to thrive. In 2026, she joined South Dakota State University as a simulation education specialist, where she continues to support innovative, hands-on learning for future health care professionals.
