Emergency Management, through the Emergency Management Team, coordinates emergency preparedness efforts including planning, prevention, response and recovery for the university and oversees the university’s Emergency Management Plan.

The university is committed to keeping the campus community informed during emergencies and situations that might disrupt normal operations. The university posts updates when there is an active alert, and the university issues timely warnings when a situation arises that constitutes a Clery Act crime within the Clery Act crime within the Clery Geography of the university.
